Adam’s Salts and Rubs started out as a hobby rooted in healthy competition. I had the good fortune of being invited to a number of BBQs held by the guys over at the Prather Ranch Meat Co. These folks are serious about their meat. Everything is raised humanely, fed organically, and dry aged to perfection. It’s just about the best meat you can throw on the grill.
Feeling left out I decided I had to bring something to the party. After alot of experimentation on friends and family I created four rubs I can call my own. Adam’s Steak Rub, Coffee Rub, BBQ Rub and Pork Rub.
I incorporate both homegrown and exotic ingredients to make flavors that are satisfying, interesting, and memorable. For me, the true test of a recipe’s success is that when you are asked to the next BBQ, the last dish you made is requested. Each one of these salts and rubs has passed this test many times and it is my sincere hope that when you start using these products, you are the first name on everyone’s list of who to invite to the next cook out.
